The Barnabas Project began serving
the needy of the Chicago area in 1988 with housing and support
for homeless and abused families. Today its ministries
include:
Cornerstone
Community Outreach
- In the Uptown neighborhood, support for homeless and
abused women and families -- CCO offers shelters for
individuals and families and other neighborhood services
Leslie's
Place - On the
west side, a long running ministry providing housing and
support for women just released from prison
Safe
Families - A volunteer movement that connects the
children of parents in distress with host families who offer
their homes and support for vulnerable children
Hope
House - Hope House recently moved to Genoa in rural
Chicago. It continues to serve youngsters from the Humbolt
Park neighborhood in Chicago, as well as those from rapidly
growing Hispanic areas in the city's northwest suburbs.

Ministry - Providing free summer camp experience for
inner city kids served by Barnabas Project supported
ministries
